Brucellosis 2008 International Research Conference
(including the 61st Annual Brucellosis Research Conference)
Dear Colleagues,
Following the successful International Brucellosis Research Conferences in France, Spain and Mexico the next meeting in the series is being planned in the United Kingdom in 2008.
The meeting will take place from 10-13 September 2008 and will be held at Royal Holloway College, part of the University of London. We hope that this attractive location, conveniently situated within easy reach of Central London and international air and rail connections, will provide a convivial atmosphere for a productive meeting. As with previous conferences in this series it will cover all aspects of the disease and bacterium including detection, control, and eradication and well as recent advances in biological characterisation of Brucella.
While we are circulating preliminary information of the 2008 meeting now, should you wish to note the date in your diary, don’t forget that the 60th Annual Brucellosis Research Conference will take place in Chicago later this year (1-2 December 2007). The preliminary Brucellosis 2008 meeting website can be found at http://www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/vla/aboutus/aboutus-bruce2008.htm. This website will be updated with further information once the Chicago meeting has taken place in December.
We look forward to welcoming you in the UK in 2008.
